I created and brought to life the brand identity for a crochet brand

About the brand

Flamingo is a modern crochet brand founded in the region of Aveiro, with the ambition of creating unique and effortless clothing pieces. From bucket hats to tops and bags, any customer can request their favorite design in the colors they desire. The name 'Flamingo' was inspired by the fact that in the region of Aveiro there are many flamingos that visit the wetlands in search of food. These long-legged animals represent two crochet needles, while their colorful feathers symbolize the vibrant colors of crochet yarn.

Creation Ideas

This direction was inspired by the colors of flamingo (soft pink) and a funny typography.

The flamingo name embodies the spirit of the crochet brand, symbolizing creativity, elegance, and vibrancy. Just like the flamingo's long legs resemble crochet needles and its vibrant feathers represent the colorful yarns.

target audience

The brand attracts mainly groups like:

- Young adults and millennials – Typically aged 18-35, this group is attracted to stylish, trendy, and often minimalist or bohemian-inspired fashion;
- Craft enthusiasts – Individuals who have a love for handmade products and the craftsmanship behind them;
