Techno Beats
Your go-to platform for buying and selling tickets to the best techno events. Connect with fellow fans, secure your spot, and never miss a beat!
Goal
The application aims to provide techno music fans with ticket sales and access to events.
Diving into the techno abyss
To understand the soul of techno, I put on my headphones, hit the dance floor, and asked the experts (DJs and die-hard ravers). Through interviews and surveys, I uncovered their deepest desires: sleek sound mixing, a dark aesthetic vibe, and zero patience for clunky interfaces. Turns out, techno lovers are all about that flow—both in music and in app experience.
Creating personas provide me a deep understanding of user's behaviours, motivations and challenges

Minimal, dark and drop-ready
The design is all sharp lines, deep blacks, and neon highlights. I crafted a UI that felt like an extension of the music: intuitive, rhythmic, and a bit edgy. Every button, toggle, and slider was made to feel like part of the beat—because who has time for boring menus when the bass is dropping?
Let the bass decide
The app was handed over to its toughest critics—actual techno enthusiasts. Testing sessions ranged from clubs to techno music lovers. Feedback was brutal yet fair: “Cool, but I can’t figure out how to add alerts!” or “Why the button are so small?” Every critique allowed me to refine my design until it hit the right note.
The flow should feel just right for the user
The design of this app emphasizes a seamless user flow, enhanced by thoughtful animations to create a vibrant and enjoyable ticket-buying experience.
Subtle animations—such as swipe effects, button hovers, and confirmation highlights—add a sense of rhythm and energy, echoing the pulsating beats of techno music. These details not only make the process functional but also evoke positive emotions, turning the act of buying tickets into a delightful experience.
The application was structured considering daily events, weekly events, and featured ones
The final drop
I iterated the design until it built up to the perfect smooth and intuitive navigation. Adjusted interactions, polished animations, and simplified workflows to ensure it was seamless to navigate—even if users were operating on 3 hours of sleep.
This project was as much about hitting the right UX beats as it was about celebrating the techno culture. It’s not just an app—it’s a vibe.
